We are our own worse critics. I hear people, almost daily, comparing themselves to others. Even comparing themselves to their old selves from pre-injury or pre-children. STOP IT.You are not that other person. You are not the you from 2 years ago. You are who you are RIGHT NOW. And use what you have now, put in the work, and make it better.
