Here's the link to my first CrossFit workout - December 4, 2006.What a terrible workout to be my first one. Looking back, I wasn't able to complete it under an hour. And now, when I look at all of you doing workouts, I'm amazed at how far you've come in such a short amount of time.Me after a few years of CrossFit is nothing compared to YOU after a year of CrossFit. My form was still terrible, there were a ton of movements I couldn't do.Yet, I hear people who have only been here less than 6 months, say they can't do this or that. My response - be patient. Health is not a race. It's a journey. Progress should be made slowly. I shouldn't see posts in the comments about 15-50 pound PR's. Let the improvement happen over a longer period of time so you don't become stale.I wish I had a coach that gave me that advice. Then I might not be stuck with a 130# press. For time:50 Box jump, 24 inch box50 Jumping pull-ups50 Kettlebell swings, 1 poodWalking Lunge, 50 steps50 Knees to elbows50 Push press, 45 pounds50 Good Mornings50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball50 Burpees50 Double undersCompare to Dec.4/10"Soooo thirsty....."
